Amanda Fessant among top five nominees

Things just keep getting better and better for the musically talented and award-winning Amanda Fessant of Paris.
    Just this week she received word that she was among the top five nominees for New Artist of the Year for the Inspirational Country Music Awards which will be held in Nashville, Tenn., Nov. 4.
    “This is a dream come true for me and my family,” said the  enthusiastic Fessant.
    She explained, “I am so thrilled that the industry and my peers have chosen to honor me in this manner.”
     Fessant will be joining the top musicians in Nashville during the 13th Annual Inspirational Country Music Awards.
    Her latest CD “Release” has been creating much attention in the past six months since its release.
    The CD includes a number of pop country and mainstream country ballads including  “Just Like Emilee” and “Never Lost Someone.”
     She is currently booking appearances for 2008 and is excited with the prospect of being able to travel all of the nation.
    To date Fessant is scheduled to appear in Texas, Arizona, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana and many other areas.
    Her video is now being played on the air on the east coast and has been interviewed by several Canadian radio stations as well as many in the U.S.
    “We are excited about the requests from overseas countries, such as Germany and Australia for my music,” Fessant said.
    “I am so blessed by you all and pray for your continued support as I continue my journey,” she said in appreciation.
    In addition to promoting her CD Fessant continues her work with HIS Ministry.
    She and her husband, B.J. Fessant attended the Agape Fest in Greenville in April where they  presented the top Christian Country Band Award during the program.
